EUROFINS presented a distinct requirement : a durable, reusable cooler featuring a handle to ease the transportation of samples. In addressing this need, Knauf Industries collaborated closely with EUROFINS to co-develop a customized solution that fulfilled their technical and operational specifications.

This collaboration commenced with the provision of 20L and 35L Komebac® Cool insulated boxes, utilized for the temperature-controlled transport (+2°C/+8°C for 36 hours, in compliance with the NF S 99-700 standard) of samples among the various laboratories within the EUROFINS network. These boxes are integral to inter-site logistics, facilitating efficient and secure sample transfer.
